Lainy Wills
Lainy Wills brings over 25 years of experience helping people navigate life’s twists, turns and occasional emotional chaos. As a qualified counsellor, counselling lecturer, and emotional resilience and mindfulness tutor, she offers far more than a listening ear — combining therapy, practical tools, learning, and a little bit of magic to help you feel happier, calmer, and help you be the best version of yourself.
Lainy is passionate about helping people create their own personalised “Emotional Resilience Treasure Chest” — packed full of techniques, insights and feel-better habits they can dip into whenever life gets wobbly. Her aim is to find the right mix of healing, learning, empowerment and fun, because personal growth doesn’t always have to feel serious.
Known for her warm, down-to-earth and light-hearted style, Lainy helps adults and children relax while exploring the fascinating quirks of the mind. Sessions are tailored to each person because she believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to feeling better.
A registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), Lainy has worked across the NHS, local government and private practice, which she has run since 2013. She has supported people through anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, low confidence, grief and many of life’s unexpected plot twists.
Her approach is simple: understand your mind, build your resilience, and create more space for happiness.
